NCT ID NCT07337889

First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) might be better understood as an addiction to relationships, similar to substance use disorders. Researchers will compare 194 people with BPD, bipolar disorder, and healthy volunteers using questionnaires and tests. The goal is to reduce stigma and improve treatment by reframing how we think about BPD.
