Early botox shots tested to protect Babies' shoulders

Summary
This study is testing whether giving botulinum toxin injections early can prevent shoulder deformity in babies with a nerve injury from birth. Researchers will compare the injections to a sham (placebo) procedure in 62 babies aged 10-11 months who are at risk for shoulder problems. The main goal is to see if the treatment can stop the shoulder joint from shifting out of place as the child grows.
