Botox shot during surgery aims to stop bathroom trips

NCT ID NCT05393921

Summary

This study aimed to see if giving Botox injections directly into the bladder at the same time as a common prostate surgery (HoLEP) would help men recover faster and get better relief from frequent, urgent urination. It planned to compare men who got the combined treatment to those who got the surgery alone, checking their symptoms over six months. The goal was to improve quality of life by managing these bothersome symptoms more effectively right from the start.
