Botox shot in the womb could ease crippling period pain

Summary
This study tests whether injecting botulinum toxin (Botox) into the uterine muscle can reduce severe period pain in women who haven't gotten relief from standard treatments like painkillers or hormones. About 222 adult women with severe primary dysmenorrhea will receive either Botox or a placebo injection via a thin camera through the cervix. The main goal is to see if they feel much better after 3 months.
