Botox in the womb: a new hope for crippling period pain?

Summary
This study tests whether injecting botulinum toxin (Botox) into the uterine muscle can relieve severe period pain in women who haven't gotten relief from standard treatments like painkillers or hormones. About 222 women will receive either Botox or a placebo injection during a hysteroscopy (a camera procedure through the vagina). The main goal is to see if women feel much better 3 months after the injection.
