NCT ID NCT06336902
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This early-phase study is testing whether adding a fasting-mimicking diet and high-dose vitamin C to two immunotherapy drugs (botensilimab and balstilimab) is safe and effective for people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer (KRAS-mutant). The diet is low in calories and sugar, which may make cancer cells more sensitive to vitamin C. About 15 adults whose cancer has worsened after standard treatments will take part. The main goals are to see if people can stick with the diet and to check for side effects.
