Summary
This study tested whether a standardized Boswellia extract (a herbal supplement) combined with patient education could improve symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Sixty adults with moderate IBS took the extract twice daily for 30 days and attended educational sessions. Researchers measured changes in abdominal pain, bloating, bowel habits, and quality of life.
