Can cancer patients stop bone drugs safely after years?

NCT ID NCT04549207

Summary

This study aims to find out if patients with bone metastases from breast or prostate cancer can safely reduce or stop their bone-strengthening medications after taking them for over two years. It will compare continuing the drugs versus lowering the dose or stopping them, focusing on quality of life and bone complications. The goal is to see if treatment can be simplified for patients who are stable.
