New study aims to boost brain development in african children

Summary

This study will test a package of interventions designed to support nurturing care for children from birth to age 2 in Botswana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe. About 1,260 pregnant women, both with and without HIV, will be enrolled and their children followed for two years. The goal is to see if the program improves children's brain development and growth, and to understand how it works.
