Blood test could spot cancer before symptoms appear in high-risk families
NCT ID NCT04261972
Summary
This study aims to create a sensitive blood test that can detect early-stage cancer in people who have a high inherited risk. Researchers are collecting blood samples from over 1,400 participants across Canada to develop and test this method. The study also explores how patients and doctors feel about using such a test in regular care and whether it would be cost-effective.
