New blood test could spot cancer earlier in people with family risk

NCT ID NCT04261972

Summary

This study is developing a blood test to detect cancer early in people with an inherited high risk of cancer. Researchers are collecting blood samples from over 1,400 participants across Canada to see if the test can find cancer sooner than current methods. The study also explores how patients and doctors feel about using such tests in regular care and whether they would be cost-effective.
