First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a blood test can help primary care doctors diagnose Alzheimer's disease at an early stage. Researchers will test 1,000 adults aged 55 and older who have memory concerns. The goal is to find Alzheimer-related proteins (amyloid and tau) in the blood, which could lead to faster, easier diagnosis without needing a spinal tap or brain scan.
