Quick Finger-Prick test could replace scans for elderly fall patients
NCT ID NCT07342023
Summary
This study is testing a new, faster blood test to check for brain bleeding in older adults who have had repeated falls. The goal is to see if this simple test can work as well as a CT scan, which is harder to arrange quickly for elderly patients. If successful, it could help doctors decide who really needs a scan, making care more personalized and efficient.
