NCT ID NCT05868304
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using a special band to partly block blood flow during light weight training can build strength as well as traditional heavy lifting. Sixteen healthy adults did either low-load blood flow restriction training or standard strength exercises for 16 weeks. Researchers measured changes in force, power, and speed to see which method worked better.
