NCT ID NCT07361393

First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a blood flow restriction cuff to standard resistance exercises can improve heart health, strength, quality of life, and sleep in people with stable heart disease. Twenty adults in a maintenance cardiac rehab program will do leg press and biceps curl exercises with and without the cuff over two 10-week periods. The goal is to see if this simple tool makes rehab more effective without extra strain on the heart.
