New device aims to target dangerous lung clots more precisely

NCT ID NCT06975969

Summary

This study aimed to test how well a special catheter device works for delivering clot-dissolving medicine directly to blood clots in the lungs. It planned to enroll up to 10 adults with serious but not life-threatening lung clots. The main goals were to see if the device helped clear clots and how easy doctors found it to use.
