Summary
This study looks at why newborns with severe congenital heart disease are more likely to develop dangerous blood clots after heart surgery. Researchers will collect blood samples from 10 babies to study tiny molecules called microRNAs that control inflammation and clotting. The goal is to find patterns that could one day lead to better ways to prevent or treat clots in these fragile patients.
