New device trial aims to suction out deadly lung clots

Summary
This study is testing a medical device designed to physically remove dangerous blood clots from the lungs of patients with a sudden pulmonary embolism. Doctors will use a special suction system during a procedure to see if it safely reduces the clot burden and improves heart function. The research will measure safety, how well the clot is cleared, and whether patients feel better afterward.
