First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at two common blood pressure medicines—calcium channel blockers and beta-blockers—in 50 adults with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and high blood pressure. The goal was to see which drug works better at lowering blood pressure and improving heart function. Participants took each medicine for a period, and their home blood pressure readings were compared.
