New telemedicine model aims to boost mental health care for rural veterans

Summary

This study tested a new way to deliver mental health care to rural veterans by combining in-person and video-based services at small clinics. About 318 veterans with depression, alcohol use problems, or PTSD took part. The goal was to see if this blended approach improves mental health and quality of life compared to usual care.
