Summary
This study tested a new way to deliver mental health care to rural veterans by combining in-person primary care with telemedicine support. About 318 veterans with depression, alcohol use problems, or PTSD took part. The goal was to see if this blended approach improves mental health and is practical for smaller clinics with limited staff.
