New bladder cancer combo aims to shrink tumors before surgery
NCT ID NCT06963346
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new two-part treatment for muscle-invasive bladder cancer in patients who cannot receive standard chemotherapy. Before surgery to remove the bladder, patients receive a liquid drug directly into the bladder (a 'bladder wash') combined with an immunotherapy drug given by IV. The main goal is to see if this combination is safe and can help shrink or eliminate the cancer before surgery.
