New drug combo tested to shrink tumors before bladder cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT04553939
Summary
This study tested whether giving two drugs (toripalimab and gemcitabine) before surgery could shrink tumors in people with muscle-invasive bladder cancer who could not receive standard chemotherapy. It involved 50 participants at a single hospital in China. The goal was to see if this combination could effectively reduce the cancer burden to improve surgical outcomes.
