Summary

This early-phase study tested the safety of combining different doses of external radiation therapy with the chemotherapy drug gemcitabine for people with bladder cancer. Nineteen participants with early-stage bladder cancer that had not spread were enrolled. The main goal was to find the highest safe radiation dose and identify any serious side effects.
