New urine test could offer simpler way to spot bladder cancer
NCT ID NCT06818136
Summary
This study is testing a new urine test called Bladder EpiCheck to see how well it can detect bladder cancer in people aged 45 and older who have blood in their urine. Researchers will compare the test's accuracy to the current standard method, which involves a camera exam of the bladder (cystoscopy). The goal is to see if this simpler urine test could be a reliable tool for initial cancer screening.
