Summary
This study looks at 100 kidney transplant patients to understand where the BK virus comes from and why some people get a serious kidney infection. Researchers will compare the virus in the patient and their donor, and check how the immune system responds. The goal is to find better ways to predict who is at risk for kidney damage.
