Summary

This study aims to understand how BK virus spreads in people who have received a kidney transplant. Researchers will collect saliva, urine, and blood samples from 100 adult kidney transplant recipients at several time points over one year. By measuring the virus in these samples, they hope to learn whether the virus can be transmitted through saliva and how it affects the transplanted kidney.
