Lung fluid clues may predict sarcoma spread

NCT ID NCT06815666

First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study collects lung fluid and tissue samples from 70 people with soft-tissue sarcoma who are already having lung surgery. Researchers will look for specific inflammatory markers (NETs) in the fluid to see if they can predict how far the cancer has spread. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a new treatment.
