Can tailored exercise help young sarcoma survivors recover strength?
NCT ID NCT07662239
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized exercise program can improve physical function and quality of life in adolescents and young adults who have survived sarcoma. Participants first complete a triage tool to assess their needs, then receive a 12-week exercise plan that may include supervised or home-based activities with tools like resistance bands and a stepper. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and helps survivors move better and feel healthier.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- personalized exercise program
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this approach could help young sarcoma survivors regain strength and mobility after treatment.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small pilot study, so results may not apply to all survivors. The exercise program may be too demanding for some participants.
