Brain zaps may reveal who benefits from memory therapy

NCT ID NCT05448768

First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how a type of brain stimulation called theta-burst stimulation (TBS) affects thinking skills in people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Researchers will use brain scans and memory tests to see if they can predict who will benefit most. The goal is to better understand how TBS works in the brain, not to cure or treat the condition directly.
