Summary
This study tested whether a combination of two medications (naltrexone and bupropion) can help people with binge-eating disorder and obesity reduce their binge-eating episodes and lose weight. Participants were adults aged 18 to 64 who met criteria for binge-eating disorder and had a high body mass index. The study compared the medication to a placebo in people who did not respond well to initial treatments.
