New community approach aims to keep people with opioid addiction in treatment longer

Summary
This study tests whether offering medication for opioid use disorder (buprenorphine) in community settings, along with coaching, helps people stay in treatment longer than standard clinic care. About 400 adults with opioid use disorder will take part. The goal is to improve treatment retention and reduce overdose risk.
