Summary
This study is testing a specific spinal anesthesia technique for patients having hip or knee replacement surgery. Researchers are using ultrasound to guide a smaller dose of a special anesthetic into a specific lower back space. The goal is to provide effective pain relief during surgery while allowing patients to regain feeling and movement in their legs more quickly afterward.
