New injection strategy aims to ease Post-C-Section pain
NCT ID NCT06813638
Summary
This study tested whether adding specific pain-blocking injections and a steroid during a planned C-section could reduce severe pain in the first day after delivery. Researchers compared pain reports from 100 women before and after changing the hospital's standard pain protocol. The goal was to see if this new approach makes recovery more comfortable for new mothers.
