New scan aims to catch breast cancer recurrence sooner
NCT ID NCT04085510
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of mammogram that uses contrast dye can find breast cancer better than standard mammograms in women who have already had breast cancer. Researchers are comparing the two methods in over 1,600 women during their annual screenings. The goal is to see if the new method finds more cancers earlier without causing too many unnecessary follow-up tests.
