NCT ID NCT07002814
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether children with suspected mild, delayed allergies to common antibiotics like amoxicillin can be safely tested in a regular doctor's office. About 200 children will receive a small dose of the antibiotic under their doctor's supervision and be monitored for reactions. If successful, this could make allergy testing easier and more accessible, reducing unnecessary antibiotic avoidance.
