Private practice allergy tests for kids: a game changer?

NCT ID NCT07002814

First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether children with suspected mild, delayed allergies to common antibiotics (like amoxicillin) can be safely tested in a private doctor's office instead of a hospital. About 200 children will receive a small dose of the antibiotic under their doctor's supervision to see if they react. The goal is to make allergy testing easier and more accessible, potentially removing unnecessary allergy labels from many kids.
