This study looked at whether a dietary fiber from baker's yeast (beta-glucan) can improve how well the flu vaccine works in healthy adults aged 50 and older. 78 participants took either the supplement or a placebo before getting their flu shot. Researchers measured antibody levels and tracked flu and COVID-19 cases.
