First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two types of stitches used during minimally invasive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. The goal is to see if barbed sutures can shorten the time it takes to attach mesh to the vagina. About 52 women will take part, and researchers will also check if the repair holds up well after one year.
