First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two types of stitches used during minimally invasive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. The goal is to see if a special barbed stitch can attach the mesh faster than the standard stitch. About 52 women will take part, and researchers will measure how long the mesh attachment takes and check if the repair holds up after one year.
