First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at why children with Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS) develop problem behaviors like aggression or self-injury, and tests a behavioral treatment to reduce them. Twenty children with CdLS and their families will take part. The treatment involves two full days and one half-day at a clinic where therapists assess the child's behavior, create a personalized plan, and train parents to use it at home. The goal is to cut problem behaviors by at least 80%.
