Rigid thinking patterns tracked in addiction treatment study

NCT ID NCT07590115

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how stuck or rigid thinking patterns change over time in 35 people getting residential treatment for substance use disorders, anxiety, or depression. Participants fill out weekly surveys about their thoughts and behaviors, and researchers also analyze their therapy conversations for clues. The goal is to see if these patterns can predict how someone is doing now and in the next week, which could help personalize addiction care.
