New hope for veterans: simple therapy may lift depression after brain injury

Summary

This study tested a short talk therapy called behavioral activation for veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and depression. About 46 veterans took part, with some receiving the therapy plus usual care and others only usual care. The goal was to see if the therapy was practical and helpful in reducing depression and improving community life.
