First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study is developing and testing a program to help older veterans who are at risk of losing the ability to do daily tasks on their own. The program uses behavioral activation, a type of counseling that encourages people to do activities that matter to them. Researchers will first adapt the program for video calls, then test it with 10 veterans, and finally compare it to usual care in 48 veterans to see if it is practical and helpful.
