Summary

This study tested a new way to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) using pulsed field energy instead of standard radiofrequency. 292 adults with drug-resistant AF took part. The goal was to see if the new method is faster, safer, and more effective at stopping AF from coming back within a year.
