New Brain-Tech combo aims to restore arm function in chronic stroke patients

NCT ID NCT06951035

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026

Summary

This study explores whether combining brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can improve arm movement in people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago. Researchers will enroll 50 participants to test if these technologies can help patients better control the BCI and potentially enhance motor recovery. The goal is to make BCIs more reliable for rehabilitation.
