First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests an experimental oral drug called BBI-940 in people with advanced or metastatic breast cancer. The drug works by breaking down a protein that cancer cells need to grow. The study will find the safest dose and see if it works alone or with another drug. About 96 adults with certain types of breast cancer that have not responded to standard treatments can join.
