First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple, swallowable device can help screen for esophageal cancer in rural areas without needing a traditional endoscopy. About 110 people with chronic heartburn and other risk factors will try the device at their local clinic. The goal is to see if patients and doctors find this approach acceptable and practical for catching cancer early.
