First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a special nerve block (BAP) to a standard abdominal wall block (TAP) can better control pain and reduce the need for strong painkillers after minimally invasive left-sided colorectal surgery. About 140 adults having elective laparoscopic surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the combined blocks or standard pain treatment. The goal is to improve recovery and comfort in the first two days after surgery.
