New study tests band flossing vs cuff training for knee pain
NCT ID NCT07402408
First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares two blood flow restriction training methods—band tissue flossing and traditional cuff—to see which better reduces pain, improves movement, and strengthens muscles in people with knee osteoarthritis. 46 participants aged 40-60 with mild to moderate knee OA will be split into two groups and perform exercises with either a floss band or a pneumatic cuff on their thigh. Outcomes are measured over 4 weeks to find a safer, low-load strengthening option.
